Position Summary:

The Graphic Designer will collaborate with various stakeholders to conceptualize and execute visually captivating designs that meet project objectives for the New Orleans Saints and New Orleans Pelicans. They will bring multiple creative approaches to the table, communicate effectively with team members, and adapt to feedback to produce high-quality work. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and expertise in print and digital production are essential. The Graphic Designer will contribute to maintaining brand integrity and staying current with industry trends. Sitting in the Marketing Department reporting to our Design Director, our Graphic Designer is experienced in bringing a variety of ideas to the table and eager to learn and grow here as a designer.

What you will be doing:

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to conceptualize and execute designs that meet specific project goals and objectives
  • Generate visually captivating and innovative design concepts, demonstrating versatility in creative approaches
  • Effectively communicate and present design concepts to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to refine and enhance creative output
  • Foster a collaborative work environment, working seamlessly with team members across departments to deliver high-quality designs on time and within budget
  • Demonstrate exceptional creative problem-solving skills, adapting to feedback and evolving project requirements
  • Proficiently utilize Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, to execute designs tailored to various deliverables
  • Maintain meticulous file organization and cleanliness, ensuring efficient workflow and seamless handoff to vendors
  • Exhibit expertise in print and digital production processes, delivering print-ready and web-optimized files with precision
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices, continuously enhancing skills and knowledge

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or equivalent
  • 3 years of professional experience with direct creative design experience
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, specifically InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
  • Proven track record of creating designs that effectively address creative briefs
  • Ability to bring multiple creative approaches to the table for high-concept projects
  • Strong aptitude for receiving and integrating feedback into design work
  • Commitment to meticulous file organization and cleanliness
  • Expertise in print and digital production processes
  • Demonstrated creative problem-solving abilities
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines consistently
  • Animation experience is not a mandatory but a plus
